Doris Von Haus Henry was born 5 May 2005, in Lonoke, Arkansas. Doris and
her
siblings are the result of a mating between our V Venja Von Der Hohen Eiche
and
V Salo Vom Steigerhof. Heartfelt thanks to Herr Albert Germann(Vom Steigerhof)
of Bann, Germany, for that breeding opportunity. Doris Von Haus Henry's
preliminary
hip x-rays were marginal(at best) when it comes to the SV standard. Opinions
of most
people consulted(including myself) felt that Doris' hips would not pass the acceptable
standard for the SV. Others felt there was a slim chance, on a good day.
As a result,
Doris will not be making the trip to Germany for titling and showing and
is thus, not an eligible
candidate for our breeding program. Although this was a big disapointment
for our
breeding program, we are more than pleased to have Doris in the family.
She is, and will
remain a permanent fixture here at our kennel. Vibrant and full of life,
she thrives
in obedience, is great around kids, and other dogs/animals. Come back and
